The TP41 is quite a rare radio from Tandberg, especially in GB. I fixed this one for a friend some time ago now by replacing the 2 output transistors and emitter stabiliser resistors which for some reason had all been fried. A while later I repaired a Sony CRF-1 for the same friend and in return he gave me the TP41. This radio has a superb sound due no doubt to the large elliptical speaker that almost fills the case. My previous statement about being rare in GB seemed to have had some effect on my luck as a month or so after getting this radio I stumbled on another at a Sunday market stall in Abergele, North Wales and bought it for £7. This second one does have problems however with low sensitivity on FM and instability on AM until a strong station is tuned in. Anyone know of a fix?
