I foolishly went to an antique and collectors fair and saw this perched high on top of a Welsh dresser. I couldn't resist the temptation and bargained the stallholder down from £15 to £10. It was a bonus to find everything was intact and when two 4.5 volt batteries were inserted into the battery box it worked. Not sure about the date but is probably 1963 ish. See older Transita.
