Quite a large radio, more a table radio rather than a portable. Can be used in a car as the Aerial-in socket is a standard car aerial connector. Fake wood makes it look like it's trying to be more than it is. Dial legends are very sparsely populated with few station names. Performance and sound quality is ok on VHF but not in the same league as a similar sized Tandberg or B*O, but then I don't think it is trying to compete in the same market.
