An early example of a transistorised Hacker Herald. This model has the back panel hinged at the top and released by two short metal prongs that stick through the base. Pressing the prongs releases two catches and the back flips open. The knobs on top are all different styles and seem to come from 3 different radios. One looks as if it belongs on a Roberts radio, one looks original but I can't identify the other one. The radio works as long as you manipulate the controls due to a bad connection somewhere. Sounds good when working. The white parts are very grubby but should clean up ok.
