Yet another "Sky" radio from EverReady. this is a valve portable that uses a combined HT/LT battery. 90 volts HT and 1.5 volts LT. This radio had a battery in it when purchased, which one day I'll take apart and stuff full of PP3's and a couple of 'C' cells. I hope the radio works after all the effort. What is a valve portable worth if you can't get batteries any longer? It's something I've pondered on for a long time. I believe a radio is meant to be used not just looked at so to me if it doesn't work it's not worth much. What do you think?
