This is very similar to the Defiant A55 with the addition of a Band Spread setting centred on the increasingly popular Radio Luxembourg radio station. This radio station broadcast popular music from the Duchy of Luxembourg in the evenings on 208 metres on the medium wave and was received over a wide expanse of Europe.
