I like this radio. I bought it at a car-boot sale in 1997 for £3 because the handle was missing. It responded well to a clean-up and now resides in the shower room where it is used regularly. The radio uses 2 PP9 batteries connected in parallel but of course previous owners only ever used one. If anyone has a carrying handle for one of these (even a broken one as long as the ends are ok) then please get in touch.
I recently bought another one but this time in red and complete with carrying handle. Although not in as good condition everything is present and correct, it works and will clean up very well.
