I bought this through LOOT for £4 because it looked so clean inside and out with un-faded blue covering, correct knobs, clean and legible dial and quite clean inside. Why was it so cheap? Because it had a case of woodworm! Never mind. A quick squirt with the woodworm killer will sort the little b*****s out. A bit of plastic padding carefully inserted in the flight holes followed by dots of matching paint and it should be as good as new. There were no larvae anywhere so presumably the beetles will be busy laying eggs in someone else's collection. The moral of the story:- remember to take your glasses when buying an old radio.
