The CED Videodisc Section

Another obsession with an obsolete technology is my collection of CED Videodiscs. Only available in the USA (In NTSC format) or the UK (in PAL format) (and maybe Australia but I'm not sure) and only available in the early 80's for 2 or 3 years before RCA pulled the plug. The USA had the CED format for a lot longer than the UK and consequently there were 2000+ titles released. The UK though only had 272 titles released of which I have 176. See  http://www.cedmagic.com/title-database/uk-ced-titles.html for the full list of UK titles.

Details of what I have can be found by following the links in the left pane.

I have rather a lot of duplicates which I would be willing to swap for titles I don't have. I may even sell some in order to futher my search for the elusive few. Some are still sealed.

I seem to have a number of players in my loft and as I only really need two at most I will have some for sale working and one or two for spares. Keep an eye on the last two links.

The only other website worth looking at (unless you know different) is www.cedmagic.com which is based in the USA. It contains everything you ever wanted to know about CED Discs and Players. My aim is not to duplicate the CED Magic site but to act as a focal point for UK collectors of the CED format.
