Lubrication (that's the name of the game)

Some problems are annoying without preventing the tape from working. Clicking and squeaking can be unbearably loud and are usually due to a combination of dirt, dust, tape oxide and dried out lubricant. There is no easy fix without taking the case apart so refer to the previous section.
